Thank you for your summary.

Wife and I visited Japan in late Jan from Singapore. About a week in the Tokyo environs, and then another week in Hakuba/Nagano for the snow. Upon reflection of our trip - I realized it really recharged me ... normally I'm not much of a temple-visiting person, but for some reason or other, we ended up in a number of shrines and temples with long history, and I could feel very much at peace in each locale. While I have relied on a ton of alternative info resources during the last few years of covid-madness, what I've found is that the sites that stay stubbornly 100% rationalist, totally missing the obvious spiritual or 'other' dimensional aspects of it, are no longer providing useful answers or pointers to what comes next. My sense is that there are entities on the Japanese land/soil, that will seek to protect some folks as the long descent continues to unfold, albeit with a turbo-charge from the vex.

We are a pretty fit couple in our early 50's... on the day that we visited Enoshima island, we probably walked/hiked over 15km, often on steep terrain. I have to say, with most Tokyo subway trains being 10 cars long, most Japanese are likely to start from a much healthier physical condition, not just from their diet, but the surfeit of walking that seems to be required for daily life in Japan. That said, the latest birth/death data from Japan has been rather bleak ... I fully expect Singapore to fully catch up and surpass Japan in terms of the casualty fallout rather soon. Singapore started jabbing in earnest after Japan, but the level of coercion here was off the charts. Folks are still jabbing here, like 4th or 5th shots already, so we're dealing with a ridiculous level of shedding. Things that seem to be still 'working' are probably being carried forward by inertia.. overtime, a short period of time IMHO, I don't expect the current economic structure to be sustainable in any way.
